C. Douglas Smith
Doug Smith is the Managing Partner of Stornoway. He brings more than twenty years of product development, program implementation, and public policy work to Stornoway. He speaks and consults on situational leadership, international governance, strategic positioning and political theory. He has been CEO, ED, and Chairman of several global organizations.
Doug specializes in work with leadership accelerators, humanitarian development agencies, and government relations.
George Petty
George Petty founded Venture South International, a company lending to Micro, Small and Medium enterprises through subsidiary companies. He was previously with Marsh & McLennan insurance brokers in New York and London.
George brings international investment and global micro-finance experience to Stornoway having invested across three continents. He and his family live in Geneva, Switzerland.
Doug Tindal
Doug Tindal has deep connections among Canadian NGOs, provincial government, and the arts community. He is the former Chief of Staff to the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
Doug's background in technology, marketing, and campaign development brings Stornoway depth in strategic positioning and messaging as well connections within the Canadian civil service community.
Cheryl Anderson
Cheryl Anderson is a supply chain strategist who has implemented financial infrastructures, operational policies, and procurement strategies for small business, manufacturing, and higher education clients. She specializes in startup ventures and has developed business strategies, evaluation metrics, and provided grant management to state and federally funded projects.
Cheryl works from the foothills of the Blue Ridge in Virginia.
Clarissa Wilson
CM uses their background in digital humanities to analyze research and find meaningful trends. They have worked as a researcher, developer, and grant-writer for a variety of nonprofit organizations
CM holds master’s degrees in Museum Studies and Archaeology, frequently working at the intersection of data analysis and the international heritage sectors. They are a frequent traveler, moving between England, Scotland, Switzerland.
Andrea Swift
Andrea Swift is a marketing professional with experience in media buys, direct marketing, campaign management, and digital media. She has consulted with a wide-range of companies in both the corporate and NGO sectors.
Andrea provides strategy and implementation for single campaigns, consults on media positioning, and can lead the complete re-brand of companies.
Jeremy Bradshaw
Jeremy Bradshaw is a recent graduate of James Madison University with a bachelor’s in history. His undergraduate work focused on the historical role of sports in identity, community, and diplomacy.
He previously presented research in cultural and social history and plans to seek a graduate degree in history to continue his research.
Misty Prewitt
Misty Prewitt is the owner of Misty Saves the Day, an agency focusing heavily on social media management, branding, and content creation.
Combining her communications and counseling backgrounds, Misty has been able to bring unique approaches to key audiences in multiple sectors for Stornoway clients. It’s true. She does save the day.
